Share your experiences of Primary Care
Primary Care includes general practice, community pharmacy, dental and optometry (eye health) services. These services provide the first point of contact in the healthcare system, acting as the front door of the NHS across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB).
As BOB Integrated Care Board (ICB) embark on this programme of work to deliver its vision for primary care, it is important that we do this in partnership with patients, public and stakeholders.

We are now launching a conversation around our Primary Care development giving people the opportunity to share their experiences and insights into primary care services.

An appt with a dr often include an initial telephone appt plus a nurse appt ie 3 appointments for one thing.
Improved triage of referrals.

Better software and apps
The apps used by the health service are clunky and difficult to use causing unnecessary frustration. These should be designed primarily by focusing on patient requirements

Right to Choose
Source out services were patients can have lower waiting times to be seen. Reducing the waiting time with in the BOB.

To stop discrimination in healthcare against veterans. Veterans needs support!

GP Opening Times
Have a more diverse opening times by having weekends and evening whilst having some morning closed or could have half of GP starting from 8 - 4 and a second wave from 12 - 9. This would mean working patients can attend meetings.
